CIAAG

At Priory, we are very proud of the impartial information, advice and guidance (IAAG) we provide to our students to help them become more self-reliant and better able to manage their personal and career development, including their learning.

Throughout the year, a whole range of activities and interventions are put into place to provide all students in all years with the information, advice and guidance that they need at a time when they need it most.

School Careers Advisor

Victor Ficorolli is in school every Monday holding Post 16 Option advice one-to-one sessions to all Year 11 students. Students may make an appointment to see Victor. All students will be offered appointments. Students can also ‘drop-in’ to speak to Victor during break and lunchtime on these days. Victor Ficorolli attends Year 11 parents’ evenings offering advice and information to both students and parent/carers.

The Library

The library holds a wide selection of college prospectuses and career option information. This literature is constantly updated and available for students to take home as they please.

Work Experience

Year 10 is an exciting and important year for the pupils at Priory. Not only is it a busy GCSE year, but our Year 10s are given the opportunity to follow their own Work Experience Programme for one week in June.
