Before they even started, Year 7 has blown us away in Science!  Over the summer they had been working hard on various pieces of Science homework.

First of all, well done to everyone who completed the various assignments. Achievement points have already been added for their work on Seneca, and Mrs Potter will be adding more for their work on the homework booklet.

One of the tasks set for the Science summer transition homework was to create a model of something scientific as a project, and as you can see from the pictures, these three pupils have really excelled!

Well done to Arthur P, Edward F and Isla S.

The 'Layers of the Earth' projects really showed us what we are made from and we are really impressed with the way that both pupils approached this differently to create their unique models.

The Newton's Cradle, created by Isla, along with flashcards to explain helped us to understand how energy is conserved; it cannot be created or destroyed.

All of these models must have taken considerable effort and time to produce and we want to extend a huge congratulations to these three pupils. Keep up the good work!
