Well-Being Support
Here at Penwortham Priory Academy, we believe your well-being is of utmost importance. This section of the website signposts support in and out of school should you need it.
We believe there are a number of reasons why this support benefits you:
-
It helps you feel better: Wellbeing support can help you manage stress, anxiety, and other emotions, making you feel happier and more relaxed.
-
Improves Focus and Learning: When you feel good, it's easier to concentrate on your studies and do well in school.
-
Builds Stronger Friendships: Learning how to handle emotions and communicate effectively can help you make and keep friends.
-
Prepares You for the Future: Developing skills to manage your well-being now will help you handle challenges in the future, both in school and in life.
-
Creates a Positive Environment: When everyone feels supported, school becomes a more enjoyable and positive place to be.
On the tabs above and documents below, you will find information to support your well-being.
The holiday periods can be difficult for some - we would like to draw your attention to Kooth Digital Health.
Their services are open for students to access at any time. The chat queue on Kooth for a young person to speak with a qualified practitioner is open every day of the year at 12 noon-10pm on weekdays and 6pm-10pm on weekends.
If you or someone you know needs extra mental well-being support, go to kooth.com to chat to a practitioner today.
It is very easy to sign up - see the poster, or watch the video below.
