Year 8 pupils cook for the homeless
28 November 2019
On Tuesday evening these three kind-hearted pupils stayed behind after school to help feed the homeless.
Connie, Stephen and Chloe together helped to prepare meals to take to homeless charity, Community Spirit. Under the supervision of Deputy Head and Food Technology teacher, Mrs Cowell, the Year 8 pupils put on their aprons and rolled their sleeves up to make the wholesome food for those in need.
One pupil, Maya P, who couldn't attend on the evening, made biscuits at home and brought them in for the charity.
The photo shows Maya's biscuits being put out by volunteer, Tony, at Community Spirit's brew station.
What an amazing thing for them to do!
