Mrs Gidden's cool readers club - Abbi

Priory’s Head of English, Mrs Gidden, has been really impressed with many of our multi-talented pupils and wanted to highlight their love of reading while excelling at other pursuits.

This week we interviewed Year 7 pupil, Abbi.
 
Abbi loves reading so much she has two books on the go!

Year 7 Abbi and is currently juggling two very different books.

“I am reading Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events.’ I have watched the film with my sister and enjoyed it. I like the book so far as well. I do like mysteries.

“I am also reading ‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett about Mary who finds a secret garden and introduces it to her new friends Dickon and Colin through the help of a robin.”

Abbi is a keen animal lover and wants to be a vet when she gets older.

“I have two dogs, four cats, a hamster and a rabbit at home. I love animals.

“As well as reading, I also like watching YouTube and colouring and drawing.”
