23 November 2020
In their Art & Design lessons Year 8 carousel two are currently exploring the theme 'Mexican Day of the Dead'. The introduction to which is the accurate drawing of a skull. Pupils are learning how to closely observe and how to apply tonal shading to their pieces, to create realism.
Here's some fabulous pencil drawings from E2 and W2 - Billy M (R6), Jamie C (H6), Samuel D (H3), Thea R (R1), Chloe B (H4), Jake S (R3), Lily McM (C5).
Year 9 carousel two pupils have spent the last few art lessons looking at how to closely observe and replicate shape. They have then investigated the use of texture and tone to create different effects.
Some skilled artwork here from E2 and W2 Dylan P (H4), Paige C (H1).
