Year 11 pupil, Chloe, scaled the summit of Mount Snowdon to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

Chloe hiked up the 1,085 metre mountain with her dad, Kevin – and it took them around six hours to complete the ten-mile climb.

Chloe said: “I have never climbed anything as high before and it was an achievement when we reached the top, although it is harder coming down hill!

“It took us about three hours each way and it was nice to be able to do this and raise money for charity.

“My dad wanted to do it for his friend Brian who suffered a heart attack and passed away suddenly earlier this year, I had known him since I was a baby.

“That’s why we did it for the British Heart Foundation.”
