Mrs Elliott's cool reader's club - Maisie

Here's what our Cool Readers Club is all about...

These are our reading stars put forward by their English teacher.  We interview them about their current book, what they like reading about and what they like to do when they’re not reading.  Introducing Maisie.

Multi-talented Maisie is one of our Cool Readers while plotting a future in interior design. 

Year 7 Maisie is currently reading ‘Love is a Revolution’ by Renee Watson. 

“I have only read a bit of it so far but it’s a romance, it's about a girl living with her aunt and uncle and, even though she isn’t really interested, her cousin persuades her to go to environment meetings. 

“She has met a boy and is going on dates. That’s as far as I have got but it’s good so far. 

“I like all kinds of books, I like reading a mixture of books. 

“My favourite subject is art and I would like to be an Interior Designer, it’s something I am just interested in. 

“I attend Crochet Club at school as I like learning new skills and I sometimes go to Art Club.” 

Maisie's AR teacher, Miss Nicholls added, "Maisie has been a delight to have in Accelerated Reader this year and always has her head in a different book!"
