Jacob admits he ‘loves reading’ but his favourite subject is science. 

Year 8 Jacob has read more than three million words on Accelerated Reader. His school blazer is covered in all kinds of badges from history to stars for extra-curricular clubs and personal development activities. 

“I read all the time,” said Jacob. “I am currently reading ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s Silver Eyes.’ 

“It’s interesting so far as there is a kidnapping of one of the main characters and a suspected murder. It’s a horror mystery and I do like these kinds of books. I like thrillers.
 
“I do have a lot of badges as I enjoy most lessons although science is my favourite. I attended Japanese Club, Chess Club and Debate Club.”
