Textiles Club has returned and made a great start to the new term with a mix of new and familiar faces every Tuesday after school.

Newcomers have been building up their repertoire of basic hand sewing skills from needle threading to embroidery stitches and attaching a button. More experienced Textiles enthusiasts have been independently working on their own projects or helpfully sharing knowledge with the new members. In the coming weeks we hope to get all new members accustomed to machine sewing and using a basic pattern and template.

Learn to Knit and Crochet too!

We'd also like to mention that Crochet and Knitting are included as part of Textiles Club.  We had a huge donation of wool recently so if anyone - students or staff - wants to work on their crochet/knitting skills, you would be most welcome.

The Club is open to all pupils and all abilities - from absolute beginners to well-practiced stitchers.  All materials and resources provided.

Pop along to TE4 from 3.10pm every Tuesday.
