When Eco Club went to choose Priory's Christmas tree

On Thursday last week, four member of the Eco Committee visited Newgate Nurseries to learn how to make Christmas wreaths. 

Eco Club Leader, Mrs Massey, said, “The lovely staff at Newgate gave us a demonstration on how to make them and we were very impressed with the speed they did it.  We brought some materials back to make our own wreaths and tried to remember everything we had been taught. The pupils worked totally independently during the making of the wreaths and even did a great job on the cleaning up!

With guidance from Head Gardener, Mr Farron, the group also had the exciting task of choosing the school’s Christmas tree whilst at the nursery which will be displayed in Reception.
