This year, Mrs Qadri and the pupils of Culture Club have organised a Secret Santa for the whole school to get involved with.  Their aim was to make the holiday season unforgettable and share in the joy of giving.

Pupils were invited to buy a gift with a budget of £2-£5 and wrap it before passing it to Mrs Qadri in readiness for 'gift exchange day'.

Head of ICT & Computing, Mrs Qadri said, "I popped in an additional surprise gift which I made using our 3D printer and they all loved that!".

Year 8 Marshall said "I'm going to take the charades pack I got to my grandparent's house to play at Christmas."

Oliver and Ethan said they definitely want to take part again next year.

Culture Club runs every Wednesday lunchtime in Hex 1, open to all year groups.  It offers a safe place to discuss and educate one another on the struggles faced by members of ethnic minority groups or pupils that have alternative heritage countries. The group tackles, race, cultural, and religious issues, amongst many others. Members of the group often produce presentations to show and educate others on specific topics. The Culture Club is also a place where we come up with strategies about how we can improve visibility for members of these minority groups across the school and implement them together. Culture Club is passionate about educating others contributing to our diverse, kind and accepting atmosphere across the school.
