Year 11 DWP apprenticeships seminar
31 March 2025
The Department for Work and Pensions came in on Wednesday to discuss their work and their apprenticeships.
The seminar discussed the role of the DWP, their role in society, the range of benefits of working for the organisation, and the nature of their apprenticeships.
Lead Practitioner for Personal Development, Ms Smith said, "I am so pleased that James and Louise found time to join us, to discuss a career that youngsters would not usually consider.
“At the end of the session we had a number of individuals who are keen to pursue a career with this section of the civil service.
“As adults in the room, we were surprised by the opportunities available and the benefits of working in this sector. I think our pupils were very interested in potential salaries, career progression opportunities and flexible working hours."
