Lots of great entries and thanks once again to all students who took the time and effort to enter their photos.

It’s been a busy term with the photo competition and I really appreciate all your entries. We’re going to have a break over the half term holidays so you now have two weeks to gather your photos for the next deadline which will be Thurs, 4 June. The theme for the next two weeks is the colour 'Green'.

The winning entries this week (judged anonymously) were:

Abi J (Yr10 C4) - Dog Agility
India P (Yr7 H7) - Muddy Puddles
Mr Metcalfe! - River Dog

My own dog, Bruno, has been enjoying the lovely weather we have been having and always enjoys a good swim in a river. Once he’s in - you can’t get him out. Thanks to my anonymous judge for selecting this photo!!

It just missed the deadline for 'Water' week but it's such a fabulous photo from Mr Taylor that we couldn't not include it.  Taken by the Lead Teacher for Music on VE day, the photo shows the River Calder at Whalley in the Ribble Valley.

Have a lovely and restful half term and I hope you continue to stay safe and well. I look forward to your entries before 4 June.

Mr Metcalfe
Head of Humanities

Next week it's 'Green'.

To enter: Email your photos from your school email address to Mr Metcalfe at p.metcalfe@priory.lancs.sch.uk. Entry closes each week at 12 noon on Thursday with the winner announced on Friday.   See poster for full details.
