Year 7 question time with the Head
28 September 2020
Last week, Year 7 pupils had the chance to put their burning questions to the Headteacher.
Broadcast via Microsoft Teams from the Head's office, Mr Eastham answered some well-considered and interesting questions from each classroom.
'Meet The Head' is part of the school's transition programme and would normally take place during the induction day in July. As this couldn't happen this year, pupils had the opportunity to discuss as a class the questions they wanted answers to.
Mr Eastham happily went through their enquiries which ranged from 'How many people are in this school? to What is your favourite football team? (Preston North End, in case you're wondering!)
Other questions posed were:
How different will Priory be when Covid is over?
Why did you pick this school to teach at?
What do you do at the end of every year, trips etc?
How do you become a prefect in Year 11?
What inspired you to build the Hex?
Would you change the school uniform?
What inspired you to make the Priory logo?
What’s your favourite subject?
How smart are you?
How long have you been working here?
What religion do you practice?
Have you met anyone famous?
Has Priory had any famous people come here?
Where do you like to go on holiday?
Is your wife Mrs Eastham (which one)?
What plans do you have for the school next? (to make it even better)
If you weren't a teacher, what would you be?
What is your opinion on pineapple on a pizza?
