On Thursday we welcomed our new pupils when they spent their first full day at Priory to sample lessons and find out more about their new school.

Before experiencing lessons in English, Maths and Science, the full intake met in the Assembly Hall for 'getting to know you' activities and pupil bingo!

Mrs Farley reacquainted herself with the year group which she had already met in their primary schools and said,

"It was great to have everyone together for their induction day. There were a few nerves but I think by the time they had even finished the first set of activities the majority felt a lot more comfortable. It was great to see the excitement on their faces and I’m sure they will all settle well in to their new surroundings in September, and of course we have Summer School before then which has been really well received and I know they are really looking forward to!”

Prior to leaving, our Year 7 helpers took their younger peers on a tour, taking in the sites of our beautiful gardens, the Hex and the Technology block, sports facilities and everything in between!

Thank you to our helpers: Haniya A, Alexa G, Emma M, Emily A, Junaid Q, Jacob P, Felix D,  Hannah N, Josh T, Jess L, Freya Y, Taylor K, Lexi S, Ellis T, Eden B, Libby H.

All information regarding the Summer School plans and arrangements has been emailed to parents this week and can also be found on our website at>> www.priory.lancs.sch.uk/about-priory/transition/summer-school
