The big battery count
21 February 2023
Following our previous article, we can confirm the total number of batteries collected was 1600. That's a staggering amount that you've saved from landfill. Thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign.
The Learning for Life class who collected the most was Mr Cox's class - 7EW1.
All individuals who made a significant contribution will gain an attribution towards the Priory+ Future Citizen strand.
Mrs Massey and her Eco Committee have arranged for the batteries to be recycled and have entered the school into Duracell's national competition where we could win £3500 towards our gardens and outdoor equipment.

As part of their next campaign, the committee is asking staff and pupils to suggest areas for rewilding, where we can plant trees and wild flowers.
