Blindfold relay house competition
2 November 2023
The second lunchtime House event took place on Wednesday in the sports hall. As well as having fun, volunteer pupils honed their communication and teamwork skills as they got to work with pupils from other year groups belonging to the same House that they wouldn't normally interact with.
Maths teacher and Head of Hodder, Mr Hunter, had devised the course for the Blindfold Relay and said, "Each team had to guide their blindfolded teammate through the cones and hoops before helping them throw a beanbag into a bucket at the end."
However there were other drawbacks with the timed event adding penalty time for touching the cones enroute.
Congratulations to Hodder who finished in the fastest time - less than two minutes!
1st Hodder | 2nd Calder | 3rd Douglas & Ribble
