Year 7 football team remain undefeated after third win

Priory’s Year 7 football team maintained its 100% start to the season with a third successive win on Tuesday with a 2-1 victory over Leyland St Mary's.

Team coach, Mr Gee, said, "Priory dominated the game and took the lead through Simms in the first half. A rare defensive slip allowed St Mary's to equalise before Mitchell hit a 20 yard thunderbolt to win the game for Priory.

The team now looks forward to a last South Ribble league match, a Lancashire Cup match and the start of the South Ribble Cup after half term.
