Last week we were joined by Kat Wood from the Sexual Health Team for a lunchtime meet and greet in the Year 10 and Year 11 Bistro.

The aim of the visit was to enable our older students to see how approachable the team are, in case they are needed in the future when pupils leave Priory.

Our visitors played educational games with the pupils regarding sexual health and aimed to quash any misconceptions pupils had. As part of the visit, pupils were given contact cards for the future, should support be required.

Lead Practitioner for Personal Development, Ms Smith said, "We were pleased Kat could join us for this session. The older pupils enjoyed the game and I was reassured to hear that many of the responses were correct based on previous learning in lessons.

“Our pupils’ response and engagement was positive and I have booked Kat in again for June. She has decided to 'switch up' the misconception questions to provide further challenge to pupils."
