Geography field trip pupils brave the weather
12 January 2018
The Year 11 Geography group braved the winter weather to visit the SSSI beach and sand dune formations at Formby point on Wednesday of the last week of term.
Pupils spent the day practicing fieldwork skills and making measurements and observations. The group then travelled along the coastal road and developed their urban skills as they went from the Anglican cathedral down Duke Street to Liverpool One.
Mr Watters, Geography Teacher, said, “The pupils seemed to most enjoy the opportunity to get out of the wind and spend time checking the Christmas retail outlets!“
“It was a great day; all ready for the next super learning intervention on Sun, 28 January as the follow-up to the session.”
