The first week of the New Year saw a celebration evening at Salvatore’s Italian Restaurant, following the hugely successful Wizard of Oz production held at school before Christmas.

A turn out of over fifty pupils from the cast, backstage and sound and lighting crew, alongside the teaching staff, made for a very enjoyable evening and a just reward to cap the months of hard work by all involved.

Having put on four performances, dedicated many hours to rehearsals and  given up their free time at breaks, lunch and after school, it was great for everyone to get together to celebrate the show’s overwhelming success.

Mr Taylor, Head of Music, commented, “It was a great night and our biggest ever turnout of 50 pupils across all the different teams involved in the show”.
