Priory pupil heads up west

Priory pupil George has had a taste of the West End and wants more!

The Year 8 pupil has already performed at the Palace Theatre Manchester as part of Theatre Dance Studio in Bolton.

And last weekend he went to London with the Bolton dance studio, with their group known as the West End Stars, and took part in 'The Greatest Showcase' at The Indigo at the 02 Arena.

His group performed an Oliver! medley and some songs from Matilda.

"I was gobsmacked when I got out on stage as it was massive," said George. 

"I really enjoyed it and would love to perform there again. It gave me a taste of what it is like to be a professional in the shows."

George got involved with singing, dancing and acting at the Theatre Dance Studios as his aunt owns it.

"I went along a couple of years ago and had a go and it was fun. It's just a hobby but I do enjoy singing and acting."
