Maths go online with weekly challenge

It's thirsty work for the Maths Department as they go online with their weekly challenge...

Every Tuesday afternoon the Maths department will be publishing a video challenge. Pupils will have until the following Monday afternoon to submit their answers.

All year groups can take part however higher mathematical standards will be expected from the older pupils. 

The challenge will be issued to pupils via email and will include supporting information where necessary. Points will be awarded for taking part, creativity and accuracy.

Assistant Head of Maths, Mr Henshaw, emphasised:  "We really want to see your working out so please take a photograph of your solutions as well as your final answer and send them to us in an email.  We are going to keep a scoreboard over the next few weeks and there will be prizes!"

All the Maths staff will feature in the videos over the series - this week it's Mr Scott's turn in front of the camera.
