On Wednesday afternoon, Mrs Hopes and the Heads of Year collated all the donations from the year group bubbles.  There was food, winter woollies, children's toys and Christmas chocolate treats a plenty - we were astounded by your support!  Thank you to everyone who has donated to the appeal.

Head of Learning for Life, Mrs Hopes, said: "All items were brought over from the bubbles to the main collection room and I was astonished by how many bags and boxes were in there!"

"This is the largest collection we have had in recent years and there are a few car loads to go out to the local community.

"These photographs only represent the goods left to go to organisations, as our family bags have already gone out to be distributed.

"We would like to thank our pupils and their adults for their generous contributions, given in true Christmas spirit. As we draw to the end of our term focusing on kindness, it is great to see so many pupils have put their learning into action.

"We hope the recipients benefit from the collection and it makes their Christmas and future weeks more manageable."

Packages have now gone out to our most disadvantaged Priory families and the remainder will be taken to Penwortham's Kingsfold Food Bank, and the Foxton Centre, via the Salvation Army.
