Peer mentoring allows you to build supportive relationships with other pupils by developing and demonstrating your communication and mentoring skills which will prepare you for life beyond Priory.

Peer Mentors contribute to supporting pupils moving up from primary school in settling into their new schedule of secondary school life. They may also assist pupils with their school work and study skills, peer pressure or even issues with attendance and behaviour.

You can apply either through an application form, verbal interview or PowerPoint presentation - get creative!

What to include:

  • Why you would like to become a Peer Mentor.
  • What attributes you would bring to the role.
  • Describe any experience that would support your applications ie, scouts, cadets.

Enquiries and applications should be submitted to Mrs Willis, Learning Support, or can be emailed to a.willis@priory.lancs.sch.uk. Application forms available on the Year 9 MS Teams.
