Abbie & Jane: I love Maths because...

Assistant Head of Maths Mr Henshaw, along with the Maths Department, ran a competition asking pupils to say what they particularly enjoy about the subject. Pupils were tasked with completing the following sentence,  "I love Maths because..."

Here's why Year 9 Abbie and Jane love Maths:

Abbie...

...because it is a universal language as every country speaks maths. I think maths is challenging and tests your brain and can be helpful and beneficial in many other lessons. It is rewarding when you finally work out an answer to a question that has been particularly difficult. Maths is enjoyable and a great subject.

Jane... 

...because there is always a right answer to find, and when you find it, you get to feel happy and successful. I also like the fact that maths will get your brain working and develop your skills.

Pupils that want to claim an 'I love Maths' badge should simply click the link below to access the survey and write Mr Henshaw a sentence or two explaining why they love maths. The best responses from each year group will be selected and also featured here in our article.
