Lewis and Josh: I love Maths because...

Assistant Head of Maths Mr Sneddon, along with the Maths Department, is running a competition asking pupils to say what they particularly enjoy about the subject.
Pupils were tasked with completing the following sentence, "I love Maths because..." and qualifying responses were rewarded with an I love Maths badge.
Here's why Year 7s Lewis and Josh love Maths:
Lewis...
because I like adding up numbers,working with numbers, and figuring out maths equations. I like adding up with columns addition and using my times-tables. I like dividing big numbers and times-ing in big numbers and using my knowledge to add these numbers together. I also really like square numbers and square roots because I like times-ing and dividing.
Josh..
because when it might be a little challenging you can always push yourself to have a go at things and every lesson is something new.
Now it's your turn: Pupils that want to claim an 'I love Maths' badge should simply click the link below to access the online form (or check their year group Teams) and write Mr Sneddon a few sentences explaining why they love maths. The best responses from each year group will be selected and also featured here in our article.
