Ben, Scarlett and Leon: I love Maths because...

Assistant Head of Maths Mr Sneddon, along with the Maths Department, is running a competition asking pupils to say what they particularly enjoy about the subject. 

Pupils were tasked with completing the following sentence, "I love Maths because..." and qualifying responses were rewarded with an I love Maths badge.

Here's why Year 7s Ben, Scarlett and Year 8 Leon love Maths:

Ben...  

because it feeds into everything and there are a lot of things you use maths for in everyday life.

Scarlett...

because I love to do maths and I think it’s really good so please could I have a badge as it is my favourite subject and I want to do maths every day.

Leon...

because it is fun and tricky at the same time. My Maths teacher, Mr Walker, is really good and he is very helpful if you don’t understand something.

The best responses from each year group will be selected and also featured here in our article.
