Pupils receive their iDEA Inspiring Digital Enterprise Awards

Two more pupils have been awarded with their iDEA certificates this week.
Year 9 Ribble pupils, Junior and Naeem collected their Bronze certificates from Mr Raynor in their House assembly on Wednesday, along with their Record of Achievement which demonstrates the skills, knowledge and information they have gained.
The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, known as iDEA is an award-winning international programme that helps students develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free.
iDEA’s different learning categories (Citizen, Worker, Maker, Entrepreneur and Gamer) cover topics as diverse as cyber security, cloud computing and e-safety; and animation, growth hacking, customer relationship management, AI, and web development.
All the digital badges are short modules which can be completed anytime online. Points and digital badges aggregate towards Bronze, Silver or Gold Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award.
For more information or to sign up, pupils should see Miss Gregson, ICT & Computing Teacher, or pop along to Computer Club in Hex 2 any Monday, Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime and Thursday after school until 4.10pm.
