On Wednesday this week, Mr Raynor continued the celebrations with the annual pancake tossing House competition.

Held at lunchtime in the Assembly Hall, this ‘just for fun’ event challenged participants to score as many flips as they could in 30 seconds. Each House had a team of pupil volunteers, with the House Leaders cheering them on, and the House with the highest combined total won the contest.

Special mentions to Year 7 Angel who managed an incredible 47 flips on her go.  Thank you to Food Tech department for the pans and the PE department for the 'pancake' rubber discs.

The winners were Calder (146 flips), followed by Hodder in second place with 140 flips, and Ribble and Douglas third and fourth respectively (111 flips and 100 flips).

Priory pupils certainly know how to have flipping fun!
