Mrs Gidden's Cool Readers Club - Tyler

Tyler is juggling two books at once – but he says he doesn’t get mixed up.

Tyler is reading Labyrinth by Kate Mosse and The Brothers Lionheart by Astrid Lindgren.

“I started Labyrinth but I forgot my book one day so I got The Brothers Lionheart out of the library and then it was too good to put down,” said Tyler. 

“The Brothers Lionheart is about two brothers, one is beautiful and one is ill and they talk about another world.

“There is a fire and the beautiful brother dies.

“The ill brother wakes up one day and finds himself in the other world and the brothers are reunited.  They go exploring and get up to adventures, fighting against evil. I am waiting to see what happens next!

“Labyrinth is a thicker book about two girls, one in the past and one in the present and their lives are linked. 

“My favourite books are Derek Landy’s Skullduggery series, I have read all one to ten - and have 11 and 12 to read when I finish my current two books!

“I like them because there are a lot of different characters and it’s about magic.”

Tyler attends the Science Club and STEM Club at Priory and wants to be a games designer in the future.
