Rewards Day Smoothies

Not all pupils who were invited on the Rewards Trips last Thursday wanted to take up the opportunity.  For those who chose to stay in school, other fun activities were arranged for them.

This time, Mrs Scully, led a smoothie making workshop with the help of Miss Beesley and Mrs Bailey.

The day included smoothie tasting (to identify ingredients) and selecting healthy and nutritious ingredients - it could not be just fruit! 

In a nod to The Apprentice, pupils also had to market their smoothie including giving it a name and designing a brand label.

Languages Teacher, Mrs Scully, added, "Pupils were given smoothie cups and went off the create their smoothies with a variety of ingredients!"
