History Club | Tuesday | Break & Lunch | HU4
REPORT BY CHARLIE P - YEAR 7
Members of History Club have been hard at work learning about the Celts and Romans which has culminated this week with them making their own battle shields.
The Club, which sells itself as ‘extra lessons with fun twists,’ operates from Mr Momoniat’s room, HU4, every Tuesday break and lunch, and is open to all year groups to join.
It’s dedicated leaders Year 7s Charlie P and Harley D along with Year 10 Molly C have been organising the provision of materials for crafting their shields. Mirroring their teacher’s tasks, they have created PowerPoint presentations to explain each unit they have chosen to work on and even launched a weekly magazine imaginatively called ‘History Magazine’!
Leader Charlie said, ‘Anyone who would like to receive a copy can message me on Teams.”
Due to the success of History Club, Geography Club has just been launched as well. Geography Club begins after school on Mondays and you can join the team in Mr Momoniat’s room until 4pm.
