On Wednesday, Year 10 pupils attended an assembly run by mental health support charity, Compass Bloom.

The Mental Health Practitioners, Claudia and Elise, delivered an informative presentation on exam stress and gave useful tips, including anxiety management techniques, which will support our students as they embark on their GCSE examinations.  It is hoped that the session will help pupils take care of their mental health and ease any worry and exam stress.

The charity the supports teens across Lancashire with a range of mental health needs - and are now a fixed part of the school environment. Their work delivers 1-2-1 and group sessions throughout the academic year. Any students who feel further group work would benefit their emotional wellbeing, can gain more information by going directly to Mrs Willis, Family Support Manager, located in the Pastoral office.
