Here's what our Cool Readers Club is all about...

These are our reading stars put forward by their English teacher.  We interview them about their current book, what they like reading about and what they like to do when they’re not reading.  Introducing Sandra...

It’s amazing Sandra has time to read as she is so sporty!

When asked what Sandra does in her spare time there was a long list ranging from dance to table tennis, volleyball, trampolining, football, netball and more.

“I get it from my dad,” said Sandra. “He was a professional footballer in Bulgaria before he came to England to live. He now runs FS Minibuses.”

Sandra is currently reading: ‘Great Women Who Worked Wonders’ by Kate Pankhurst.

“It’s an amazing book about women who changed the world and left a stamp on the world such as Anne Frank and Rosa Parks. It’s educational and inspirational.”

Sandra says her favourite subjects in school are English, Geography and Maths.  “In the future, I would like to be a therapist who helps people, maybe in sport. Or I may take over my dad’s company!”
