Here's what our Cool Readers Club is all about...

These are our reading stars put forward by their English teacher.  We interview them about their current book, what they like reading about and what they like to do when they’re not reading.  Introducing Max and Charlie...

Year 7s Max and Charlie have both finished ‘The Hunger Games’ by Suzanne Collins and have different verdicts on the book.

Charlie said: “I have read the first three which are in the library and there is a fourth which I will read.

“I had seen the films first and I prefer them – there is more action in the films.”

Max said: “I have just finished the first one and I quite like it. I will read the other two. I haven’t seen the films. I do like adventure books.”

Charlie’s favourite subject is English while Max enjoys Technology.

Charlie said: “My favourite author is Tom Palmer, who writes football books, and I like funny books. I play football for Kingsfold FC Juniors.”
