Year 8 pupil rides into success at horse event
24 November 2024
Last Friday evening, Year 8 Lexi W attended her riding club presentation and won not only the two trophies she was hoping for but also the Junior Dressage Champion shield.
Lexi had worked very hard leading up to the event with lots of early mornings, lessons, learning the dressage tests, and washing and grooming her horse before each test.
Her ability to control her nerves before her classes had paid off and she has achieved so much in her first year of competing which led to her being presented with the Junior Dressage Champion shield, in addition to the two trophies.
Her family said, "Lexi came away with the large dressage shield and a sash with her name and horses name on it. She is thrilled and we are very proud of her."
