Priory’s Year 11 pupils started their GCSE exams this week.

The full exam timetable is available to download from the school website at: www.priory.lancs.sch.uk/pupils/revision. All pupils have been issued with a personalised timetable.

Revision classes have been arranged to take place during the school day with Geography sessions on Sunday with Mr Watters.

Unfortunately there is no magic formula guaranteeing exam success, however plenty of hard work, planning and starting early with revision will maximise chances of gaining the best grade.  Revision can reduce panic, giving pupils control and confidence, as well as helping to identify problem areas which can then be clarified with teachers.

Next week pupils will take their English Literature, Geography, Science, Maths, Design Tech (Electronics) and Italian exams.

Year 11 pupils will officially leave Priory on the afternoon of Friday, 15 June. GCSE Graphics pupils will need to return the following week for their final exam and some pupils may also need to return that week to resit their TLM ICT exam.  Pupils affected will be informed in advance.

Mr Eastham, Headteacher said, “I would like to wish all our pupils the very best of luck in their exams and their future careers and thank you, as parents and guardians, for all the help and support you have given to them and the school, throughout their years with us.”

Years 7-10 end of year exams will begin w/c 18 June.  Revision plans and timetables will be issued to pupils.
