Year 11 MFL pupils aim for top grades at PiXL conference

Last Thursday, Year 11 GCSE French pupils travelled to Manchester for a PiXL conference to get them 'exam ready'.

Accompanied by the Head of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL), Mrs Scully, the pupils were taken through an interactive and motivational session aimed to equip them with a range of strategies and techniques which will maximize their exam performance.

Mrs Scully said, "It was a great session full of advice and tips on how to achieve the top grades and, more importantly, how to begin revision and stay on top of the huge vocabulary demands of GCSE French.  All students came away with a revision booklet full of valuable resources."
