Monday was a glorious day to invite local primary pupils to experience all things football.

Almost 50 Able & Talented pupils from ten feeder primary schools spent the day with our PE department to develop their skills on the field at our Year 5 Football Day.

With assistance from eight of Priory's Young Leaders, Mr Hankin and Mr Bullock led skill practices, Speed Agility and Quickness sessions and some fun football rounders games. The day finished with a big tournament where teams were created with pupils from different schools, emphasising skills like communication and teamwork to allow pupils who didn’t know each other before the day to work together on the pitch.

Head of PE & Sport, Mr Bullock said, "It was a fantastic day and a great way to bring together so many talented young players."

Thank you to the Year 9 & 10 young leaders who helped to facilitate the event.: Jack T, Ryan B, Connor M, Taylor G, Paige H, Macie T, Harry C and Alex E.
