Meet the teacher - Mrs Roberts, Science

In September we welcomed Mrs Roberts into the Science Department. 

Mrs Roberts is from Penwortham and went to Lancaster University, where she completed a degree in Biology, and then to Edge Hill University for her teacher training. 

“I always wanted to be a science teacher,” said Mrs Roberts, who has been teaching for 15 years. 

“Biology was my favourite subject at school, I love everything about it, and I want to share my knowledge of it!

“I am delighted to be at Priory. I was brought up in Penwortham so I knew a lot about the school from living in the area. 

“Being closer to home also means I can spend more time with my little girls. 

“I have settled in really well. I feel like I have been here forever!” 

Head of Department, Mr Bedford, added, "Mrs Roberts is a brilliant addition to our team, bringing a wealth of experience. She has fit seamlessly into the department and already made a positive impression on many of our students. She will be a valuable member of staff moving forward as we look to build on the outstanding science results of last year."
