Mrs Elliott's cool reader's club - Will

Here's what our Cool Readers Club is all about...

These are our reading stars put forward by their English teacher.  We interview them about their current book, what they like reading about and what they like to do when they’re not reading.  Introducing Will..

Will wants to go into engineering but he also takes time in a busy schedule to read. 

“I am currently reading ‘Hunger Games’ by Suzanne Collins. It’s the first in a trilogy and I aim to read them all. 

“I am going to read all the series before watching the films. 

“My favourite books are The Maze Runner series. I like futuristic books, with plenty of action. 

“Out of school I enjoy walking my two Cockerpoos with my dad at the local park. 

“In school my favourite subjects are Maths or Technology. My dad works as a welder fabricator, he makes gates, so I would like to go into engineering and do something like that.” 

Will's English teacher, Mrs Robinson-Ali, added, "Will loves to read and has hurried his way through the entire Alex Ryder collection since starting in September. He loves to update me at the start of lessons on what he's read and gives me a review of the book so far. In lesson, we are reading Refugee Boy and he's hooked on the plot of this novel too, making fantastic predictions about what's to come! Keep up the fantastic reading, Will!"
