Textile club off to a great start

Textile Club got off to a fantastic start on Monday.  Whilst some pupils made Hallowe'en-themed drawstring bags, other began making their Christmas stockings. With the Penwortham Christmas Markets looming, some were thinking ahead with star-shaped fabric decorations to sell on the school's stall.

Technology teacher, Mrs Lockwood, said, "It was definitely my favourite 45 minutes of the week! A lovely start to Textiles Club 2023."

Here's Maisie and Emily (Year 8) with their first makes.  Emily had made her bag to keep her book in which she had newly purchased from the book fair.
