Year 9 Pupil 'Spots' something to do in his spare time

Year 9 pupil Yaseen is hoping to become a TikTok sensation like his trainspotting hero Francis Bourgeois. 

Luke Magnus Nicolson is otherwise known as Francis Bourgeois (image below) and is a British trainspotter, social media personality, model and author. 

His social media accounts have millions of followers as he posts light-hearted and humorous videos about his love of trainspotting. 

Priory’s Yaseen has just started his own TikTok account about his love of trains and, with his own unique style and enthusiasm, he is hoping his will become popular as well.

“I live near the bridge in Farington so I started going there and watching trains. There are a variety of freight trains, and the 92 is really big, and also there are a number of steam trains which are always popular. 

“There are rare trains -  the 37, 47 and Class 50. 

“I use Realtime trains which provides information about trains on the UK network so I always know what is running and at what time. It’s 24/7 so you can track them all. 

“I follow Francis and admire what he has done. He posts a lot of videos.

“I started my own TikTok account and I have 100 followers in less than a month. 

“Trainspotting is fun, there is a lot of hanging around, but it makes me happy.”
