Here's what our Cool Readers Club is all about...

These are our reading stars put forward by their English teacher.  We interview them about their current book, what they like reading about and what they like to do when they’re not reading.  Introducing Ezra..

Ezra wants to delve into the ocean when he is older but is currently reading a book set on land. 

The Year 9 is reading ‘Fir’ by Sharon Gosling which focuses on a family sheltering in their plantation house and it’s about their survival during the winter. 

“The winters are harsh so they are stranded,” said Ezra. “It’s ok so far. I do like reading horror books the most.” 

Away from horror novels, keen guitarist Ezra already has plans for his future. 

“I couldn’t decide between a marine biologist and an artist when I am older,” said Ezra. “I decided an artist probably wasn’t too realistic so now I think I will aim to be a marine biologist, I have always been fascinated by the ocean. 

“My favourite subjects in school are Geography and Maths.”
