South Ribble Cross Country Championships 2024

Friday afternoon and Saturday morning saw the South Ribble Cross Country Championships held at Hutton Grammar School. 

Pupils qualified for the event based on their performance in lessons and the inter-house competition held at school.  

It was wonderful to have many parents/carers in attendance spectating throughout the morning who showed their appreciation and support for all of the runners. This creates an amazing atmosphere and experience for the runners. 

Head of PE & Sport, Mr Bullock, said, "There were some fantastic individual and team performances on a challenging course. Our podium finish came from Eleanor M who won the Year 7 race in style and now qualifies to compete in the Lancashire competition in the New Year." 

Well done to all the runners who represented Priory so well.
