Year 8 Pupils Raise Funds to Support the International Wolf Center
26 February 2026
Year 8 pupils are celebrating once again after their latest bake sale raised over £48 for the International Wolf Center in Minnesota, USA.
The charity supports the care of five ‘exhibit pack’ wolves at its centre in Ely. Alongside caring for the animals, the organisation provides education through on-site exhibitions, monthly webinars, 24‑hour live‑streams of the wolves, and a wide range of online resources. Their mission is to promote a world where wolves and humans can successfully co‑exist.
Year 8 pupil Charlie P said, “The Wolf Center is an amazing cause and will continue to do their brilliant work supported by our donation.”
Ben W added, “It’s great knowing that all our hard work will support such a good cause.”
Charlie chose this charity, of which he is a member, because he has “always liked wolves.” He regularly watches the International Wolf Center’s live cams via explore.org to keep up with the pack.
Well done to the whole team behind the bake sale: Charlie P, Ben W, Meraj M, Archie H, and Holly‑May B.
