From Primary To Priory: British Science Week

As it is British Science Week this week, Head of Science Mr Bedford and science technician Mr Evans, nipped up the road to Penwortham Primary School on Monday morning to deliver an assembly. 

The theme for Science Week this year is ‘Curiosity’, with Mr Bedford describing the work of Newton, Fleming and several other scientists who had observed things and been curious enough to wonder how and why. 

With demonstrations of indicators and gas tests, perhaps they were also able to inspire curiosity in some future Priory pupils!
