Regular attendance at school is the single most important factor in a child making appropriate progress and achieving success.
Good, regular and punctual attendance means doing well academically, developing better relationships with other children and positive behaviour. It also sets up good habits for when young people enter into work and independent life.
At the end of every term, we hold a prize draw to recognise consistently high attendance.
For the full academic year 2025-26 many pupils achieved 97%+ attendance and names were drawn out of a hat on the last day of term; the four winners of each year group received a £15 Amazon gift voucher. In addition, all pupils who achieved 100% attendance will each get a certificate during their House assembly later this month.
Well done to:
Year 7 - Jakey C, James D, Emily E, Belle L
Year 8 - Andre M-A, Charlotte C, Lucy F, Harry G
Year 9 -Kayden C, Henry H, Holly McC, Evie S
Year 10 - Elliott W-McB, Oliver C, Harry C, Will D
As a bonus this year, the names of pupils who achieved 100% attendance over the academic year were put into a special prize draw.
One name was randomly selected to win £100!
